The Clean Utilities Engineer is responsible for all Clean Utilities aspects including design, installation, operation and maintenance. The Clean Utilities Engineer is assigned to develop, define and roll-out the clean utilities philosophies and standards in collaboration with QA, Operations and Engineering. She/he is part of the investment project team during concept, design, procurement, start up and qualification of Clean Utilities Systems. This includes the co-ordination of technical activities involving multiple parties, whilst providing clear alignment and support of the project teams. Clean utilities include Purified Water, Water for injection, Clean Steam, Process Gases, CIP & Chemical systems.

Bachelors or master’s degree in engineering
Bachelors or master’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, process, pharmaceutical, biochemical engineering or equivalent) or long time and in-depth project technical management or operational experience in international environments. 7-10+ years in project engineering, project management for chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical industries, facility layout and optimization or equivalent is required with vast experience and expertise in the field of Clean Utilities design, layout and construction. The candidate should have excellent knowledge of current and proposed future technology in the field of Clean Utilities, associated automation, operation and maintenance. International experience is strongly desired along with cGMP regulatory requirements.
