Backend Developer Java

Your responsibilities will include designing, building, automating, deploying and maintaining highly available, robust and secure customer-facing wealth management applications in various cloud environments, as well as providing APIs for front-end applications and booking systems. You will work in an agile (Kanban) team, continuously delivering new functionality and focus on backend development with Java 16 (soon 17) and Spring Boot. You will also be responsible for implementing DevOps concepts such as cloud deployment, automation, participating in code reviews, and taking ownership of code and applications throughout the lifecycle.

Information Technologies


For this position, you bring very good knowledge in creating microservice-based backends with Java and Spring Boot as well as experience in reactive programming. Experience with Docker and container orchestration is a must, preferably Kubernetes. You also have a team spirit - you enjoy working with people and people enjoy working with you as well as a "can do" attitude and the ability to get things done. TDD is not a buzzword for you, you write your tests first. Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana and Kafka is a plus as well as experience in finance, asset management and knowledge of financial instruments.
